If this doesn't bother you, continue reading on...
1.) Never Post Pictures from Your Phone:
Phones are evil. Do not ever use them again. Not more than once every 2 years or so anyway. And even then, when using your phone make sure it's an iPhone or a Samsung Galaxy as those are much better phones and cost way more than most of the other phones you could use. Only under certain circumstances, such as using your phone on an ocean or in outer space, would it be worthwhile to use a non-Apple/Samsung Galaxy phone.
Do yourself a favor and take pictures with your DSLR camera or any other decent camera instead of using your phone. The difference is night and day.
2.) Never Caption Your Photos:
The only time it's okay to caption photos is when you're posting them on Reddit (preferably r/pics) because that's what the people there want according to research I've done in 2021 about how people like their captions. However if you don't post them on r/pics then don't bother putting the effort into creating a good caption because it isn't worth your time.
3.) Quality over Quantity:
It's better to have 1,000 photos with 0 likes than 10 pictures with 100 likes each. Why? Because if you post more then once a day or so then people will unfollow you. It's just how the world works these days. So sacrifice your social life and don't go out on Friday nights because that's when everyone is at parties having fun... You're going to be stuck inside taking boring pictures of things that no one cares about. But at least they'll be high quality! Right?
4.) Use Just One Hashtag:
The only hashtag anyone cares is #nofilter. So if you're going to bother using a hashtag for your photos, make sure it's #nofilter.
5.) Use No More Than Three Emojis at the End of Your Caption:
Using more than three emojis at the end of a caption devalues all other captions because it shows that you don't take caption creation seriously. People will begin to hate on your photo and they'll downvote it into oblivion. There was this one time in 2021 where someone used 10 emojis at the end of a caption and their whole page pretty much got downvoted into hell-like oblivion just like that. It was very sad...
6.) Get 1000 Likes on Each Photo Before Posting Another One:
Getting 1000 likes on a photo before you post another one is the best way to ensure that no one unfollows your page.
7.) Never Post on Weekends:
Posting pictures on weekends results in faster growth than posting them during the week because people are out enjoying their weekends instead of looking at Instagram photos. Don't spoil it for them by showing how much fun you're having!
If you follow these rules then you will be well on your way to skyrocketed growth. Be sure to check back next year (or whenever I decide to update this article) for more tips from 2021! Good luck and happy instagramming!!!
-If none of those 7 rules apply, don't even bother reading the rest of this article or using it to grow your Instagram page.
If you've been on any kind of social media in the last few years, you know all about how important it is to have a large following on Instagram. It's pretty much the #1 most important thing if you're trying to become famous (or even semi-famous). So why is that? There are 3 reasons for this:
1.) You Can Make Money from Having Lots of Followers: The most obvious reason is because people will think you're more popular and they'll be much more likely to purchase things from/follow your brand if they know other people with similar interests your account too. This means more profit for you!
2.) You Can Get a Job if You Have Lots of Followers: Bosses are more likely to hire someone who already has an established audience. So having a large following means that you're less likely to get laid off and it'll also mean that the people in the company will see how much influence you have on your followers, which is good for getting promotions within the company as well (if that's something you want).
3.) The More Popular Your Brand is on Instagram, the Easier it Will be for your Page to Be Verified: Getting verified is pretty hard to do unless you have lots of followers because then people will notice your account and report it for verification. However, if you have lots of followers then you're more likely to get reported by someone who knows that your brand is popular on Instagram and wants to help make sure that it stays verified (because they use the account themselves or they know someone else who does).
So now that I've covered all of the reasons why having a lot of followers is important, let's talk about how to actually get them. There are 2 ways to do this: slow but methodical growth where you don't mind waiting years just to have a small following like 1000-2000 people OR the fast way where you can gain 10k+ followers within a few months. Which one sounds better? If you chose option number two, keep reading!
The method listed below is the absolute best way to grow your Instagram page as fast as possible in 2021. It requires a lot of effort on your part and some basic knowledge of how social media sites work, but if you follow this guide then I promise that it will be completely worth it! You'll have so many followers in no time flat and people guesstimating how much money you're making in 2021 by 2022 (hint: lots). So what are you waiting for? Let's get started!
1.) Have Some Interesting Photos Ready for Posting on Your Page: This part is actually pretty simple because all you need is a phone with decent camera features to take good photos that your viewers will enjoy looking at. You don't even need to have a DSLR camera (although it helps) because you can take great photos with your phone as long as there's enough lighting and the image is in focus.
2.) Make Sure Your Account is Public: If you're going to try and get lots of followers quickly then this needs to be the first thing that you do! People can't follow you if they don't have access to your page in the first place, so make sure that your account is public before doing anything else (unless some rule has changed recently, I haven't checked Instagram's ToS lately).
3.) Use Hashtags That Are Trending Now: This part will depend on what year it is, so if you're reading this in 2021 then make sure to choose some hashtags that are trending right now instead of ones that were popular back when I first wrote this article (which was 2016). Hashtags are how people find your account on Instagram, so the more hashtags you use and the better they are at describing what kind of content is on your page, the higher chance you'll have at having lots of followers.
4.) Interact with Your Followers: You should also try and interact with people who follow your page as much as possible because it will keep them interested in your posts. The easiest way to do this is by asking questions or commenting on their photos, although just liking everything they post is a pretty good alternative if you don't have time to do the other stuff. You may buy followers (but make sure they are real human followers) It will give you more credibility and interact more followers, you can use https://sociaviral.com/ packages to buy real human followers.
5.) Post High Quality Content Multiple Times a Day: Your followers want variety! They don't want to see the same picture over and over again, so make sure that you change your pictures often and post things multiple times per day every few days or else people will stop following. If you can only post once per day then try posting multiple different types of photos instead of just one so it's not as boring for them.
6.) Cross Promote with Other Instagram Accounts: There are tons of other Instagram accounts out there that have a similar audience to you, so why not reach out and try to get them to promote your page? They won't do it for free though (it's pretty much impossible), but if you trade mentions with the account then they'll be more likely to share one of your posts or even just follow you.
7.) Post at Optimal Times: If you really want a ton of followers then take the time to find out exactly when people are checking their Instagram pages the most every day and post around those times. It doesn't have to be exact, but it definitely helps! Make sure that these are normal hours in which people in your country would be on their phones too (for example, if most of your posts get 10 to 100 likes in a day then post around 9:00am, 12:00pm, and 5:00pm).
8.) Don't Get Bored of Growing on Instagram: Something that you shouldn't do is stop posting when you've only gotten about 1/4th the amount of followers you want. If your page is still new then people might not have heard of it before (unless you already had quite a few followers when you made your account), so just keep doing what works best for growing and it'll be fine! If it's been a while since you last posted anything and all of your recent pictures are getting less than 10 likes each then try changing which hashtags you use or what time of day you post.
